Varða
Running work on questions instead of tasks.
varða (Icelandic) — a cairn: stones raised along the route so travellers cross the highlands without losing the way.
Your day as a researcher.
Listen, extract, rank
Agents read every channel while you sleep — pull out the open questions, resolve the ones they’re trusted with, and rank the rest by urgency and importance.
Answer the ones only you can
A ranked queue is waiting when you arrive. Take the yes/no calls before your coffee and the deep one after — an answer can be one word, or a small thesis.
You’re not managing agents or clearing inboxes — you’re answering the questions only you can answer, and unblocking the people waiting on them.
First it surfaces the questions. Then it helps you resolve them.
Phase one · Available today
Surface the questions
A listening agent sits on the company’s channels — mail, chat, tickets, documents — and extracts the open questions. Viti, our recommendation engine, ranks them by urgency and importance. A company sees its real backlog for the first time: ordered, attributed, and tagged by effort — a quick yes/no, or a deep one.
Phase two · In build
Resolve them
Answer a question yourself, evaluate an agent’s draft, delegate it to a colleague — or release the actions the answer unblocks. Varða gathers the context and offers suggestions, but the call stays yours: a human in the loop, and an audit trail on every decision.
What happens when work runs on questions?
What is the company actually working on?
Open questions become the backlog — the knowledge work that today's tools hide is suddenly on the table.
A shared interface between people and agents
The decision layer — where a group of people can finally work with a group of agents.
Researchers, not babysitters
People spend the day on judgement and insight — with a human in the loop throughout.
We’re working with design partners now.
If you want to see the open questions in your own organisation — before deciding anything else — we’d like to talk.
